The Garden Club of Newtown Scholarships 2025

The Garden Club of Newtown is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior or a college student who is enrolled in an accredited college or university and is majoring in “Environmental Studies”. The student must be a Newtown resident.

Deadline date for application submissions is Saturday, April 12, 2025

To Apply you must:
  1. Complete this Application form;
  2. Upload a Personal Letter by Applicant (not to exceed 2 pages) Letter should include career goals & reason applicant is pursuing majoring in Environmental Studies;
  3. Upload a Letter of Recommendation: One letter of recommendation from an educator or guidance counselor is required not to exceed 1 page. Letter to include character reference & scholastic ability.;
  4. All grade transcripts;
  5. Proof of residency such as a copy of driver’s license or voter registration card.
